  Azelaic acid is a cream often prescribed for acne due to its exfoliating and disinfecting properties. This acne medicine also lightens the skin and has almost none side effect. You can use it if your acne has a moderate to mild form. 

 

Tretinoin
  Tretinoin acne medicine comes in various strengths under creams, solutions, gels formats as well as liquid. Its' use is in treating mild acne if you apply low levels of this compound and if you use a stronger formula you can treat also a moderate to severe acne skin. Keep in mind that for an acne medicine, tretinoin can be combined with other topical antibiotic and also with benzoyl peroxide. The results have been proven to be good. 

  Adapalene differin
  Normally comes under the name of Differin. This acne medication is used by applying a small quantity on the affected area. If your acne is characterized by comedones -blackheads and whiteheads- then it may help you. You can expect results with the acne product after at least two months of this particular acne treatment. This is usually a prescribed acne medicine but it depends on its' strength. Some inflammation reductions have also been noticed when this topical product applied. Gels and lotions are also a form you can apply this acne medicine like. 

  Tazarotene

  You can use tazarotene gel if your acne is mild or moderate and is face-located but be aware that a treatment based on this acne medicine may have some side effects as skin irritation, redness or peeling.
